Cyberpunk 2077 is undoubtedly a milestone cultural work in digital art, world-building, and technological exploration

2077 achieves next-gen graphics standards with its physics-based rendering and cinematic lighting that create breathtaking Night City spectacles. The omnipresent neon lights vividly embody the cyberpunk aesthetic core. In narrative, the game employs a "dual consciousness" approach, allowing players to coexist with Johnny's digital soul and experience the memories and emotions of both characters through deep immersion. Furthermore, 2077 explores philosophical questions by bringing classic cyberpunk sci-fi themes back into public discourse.

Through a series of plotlines, it exposes sharp class conflicts and shatters the utopian illusions of technological progress.

Deficiencies and issues to be resolved

The game exposed numerous performance issues and bugs during its initial release, severely undermining the carefully crafted immersive experience. This highlights the significant gap between technical architecture and artistic vision in highly complex systems. Despite the city's visually rich appearance, some open-world interactions lacked the depth and variety expected by the game's world-building, resulting in a 'big but empty' exploration experience.

Third-Party Assets - Quixel Megascans Usage

 Introduction This blog documents the third-party assets used in my degree project.  -All models in the game were modeled by myself in Blender. -Most of the materials in the game were created independently by me, including 13 base materials made  in Substance Designer, 1 material made in Procreate, and 1 material made using Blender's material   nodes.  -About 9–14 third-party materials were used in pre-production, all of which were replaced with self-   made materials in the final game. -The only third-party assets used in the final game are few textures from Quixel Megascans.  What scenes will there be in the game? Laboratory The corridor next to the laboratory The exterior of the building The archive The monitoring room The central space The concept art of  central space The office of the boss of the Kamigaki conglomerate. The vast space is surrounded by concrete walls that resemble building facades. On the walls, one can see rows of bright and dim lights flickering. Upon closer inspection, it can be noticed that each light represents a server. The floor of the space is a shallow layer of water, like a still lake. On the water surface, there are countless glowing wires, all seemingly extending from the bottommost servers and finally converging at the center of the space, forming a Japanese traditional courtyard building that is out of place with the surroundings.
