When processing loop edges at transitions, never place the 'crossing' structural lines adjacent to the transition points. Instead, for an optimal shading effect, direct the two extended lines to converge in opposite directions along the common normal (press GG to slide them).
Bevel skill 1
When beveling using the modifier, change the Miter Outer from "Sharp" to "Arc" to achieve visually comfortable edges. To obtain a flat shading effect, check the option "Harden Normal(s)".
Bevel skill 2
To prevent triangular faces inside bevel structures, ensure an even number of "Segments".
Bevel skill 3
To create a perfect bevel, set the "Shape" value in the "Profile" column to between 0.6 and 0.7 , a bit higher than the default value.
